BAND CAMP ROCKEDDDDD!!!!!!!! Simin's ultra long post motivated me to blog. :D
Lol. My first camp since pri 5 ok. I ponned OBS lor. Hahahha. Ok shall recap day-by-day. (:
Day 1:
Maluated myself twice upon arriving in school. First cos i carried such a huge haversack i looked like a ninja turtle. Next cos i flew while walking to our bunks. Literally. I tripped over my own feet and enjoyed being air-borne for a split-second. Everyone saw la! Simin, keene, jeffery, rubberband boy.
After struggling with FV, we had lunch! :D But the ratio of veggies to everything else was like, 987677496:1, so i dumped most of it. Collected rubberbands for zai the rubberband boy tho! LOL. I think i spread the rubberband thing to most of the ppl in band alr. Whoops. (:
THEN. Something happened. I think i might have been too sensitive. At first i thought nth of it, but after a while it seemed suspicious. So i told simin. Caused the poor girl to waste ALOT of brain juice throughout the whole bandcamp lor.. Kinda regretted it cos i thought it spoilt her mood for band camp.. But it all turned out fine. (:
Games after that! Outta the 3 games, Bach won 1!! Lol. Not much, but we were down by one man. Zeyi bumped his head really bad, and got a super aa ba-lu-ku on his head. Poor thing! I felt his pain just from
looking at it. I was super wet frm war games la can. My king and queen kept getting bombed! Rah. Realised im a bad bodyguard. :\ But the games were fun. Kudos to games comm! :D After tt, we showered and had dinner. I dint eat much, cause my molar/wisdom tooth was rlly sore. ): I was complaining when mr.ho came over. Haha. Quite paiseh. Then we accompanied mummy to shower. Simin and i were camwhoring in the toilet! Haha. Kinda fun. Watched another band movie. Mr Holland Opus. Not bad, but random at times and slow moving at first. Mummy fell asleep! Lol. Quite nice la, the show. But i swear the protagonist was seducing all his female students lor! Hahaha. The movie was ultra looooong. But luckily it ended before 12. So we were still on time when we gave theresa her bday gift! Im so glad she likes it. Dragged wensi all over town to look for it la. Lol. We even bumped into her tt day. Super coincidental.
Ok back to band camp. After tt, i was quite tired. Attempted to slp, but couldnt. Shant elaborate. Haha. Then simin finally got back frm her looooong talk with wensi. Tried to slp agn, this time on the chairs, but cldnt agn. So decided to go out with mummy and daddy. Simin and i decided to stay up and watch our "parents" sleep. And then. We literally talked the night away!Just kept talking and talking to keep ourselves awake. I chatted till i was hoarse. Haha. I think i told her my life story la can Sorry simin if i bored you! First time i stayed awake all night la! Lol. Kinda fun, but regretted it the next day.
Day 2:
2 words. Walking zombie. Hahaha. PT in the morning sumore. Lucky im in PT comm, so dunid to run as much. Lol. Was quite fun, watching everyone doing the forfeits we came up with. :D I feel evil. LAWL. Then breakfast. Prata!! But my stupid sore gum gave me trouble so i gave up eating. I fell asleep so many times during sectionals la! Everytime jh took someone else id doze off, only waking up when mayqi nudged me in the gut just before an entrance. I was so afraid i wld fall aslp during combined or. But surprisingly it woke me up. Ah, the wonders of Mr. Ho. (: Or mayb i cldnt fall aslp cos the pieces were too challenging. Haha. Duno la.
Music quiz! We cheated for the mcq. Whoops. Haha. But still cldnt find the answers. IN the end we got al the answers wrong. Only those random, anyhow guess answers were right. Random much! Hahaha, I was the "volunteer" to go and be the token for the snakes and ladders (treble clef version) game. But we were quite sway la. Kept getting the blank box! I think we got like 6 of those. But its better than forfeits i guess, Lol. Music quiz comm was good too! They found innovative methods so we wont be bored. (:
Then it was games agn. Time for Bach to shine!! First place, baby! :D And it had nth to do with the fact tt simin was in charge of our grp. We won cos we chionged all the way k! Haha. Super enthu. :D Then after we fininshed we were taking retarded pics. Started a trend and soon everybody was doing it. :D The dinner was awesome! Buffet leh. I think food comm rlly did well. (: But i only cld eat tofu. ): SO sad la. I dint want to look like i was anorexic, so i ate like 10 pieces of tofu. Haha. Had to have energy for exco games ma. LOL.
I was super scared at first, but it got better after a while. We went to the wrong place for our first station! Rah. Clashed with the grp before us, and messed up all the clues. Spoilt the scare frm joe and lisa. Sorry! :( Woah then we saw all the exco members in a different light. Or in some cases, no light. :x Best ghost award goes to mummy. She rlly cld act la! Scary. And the best (scariest) stn was jiahao's. The location was scary lor. The dark alley. Never even been in there before. Then there were all the stupid corners. I was so afraid someone wld pop out frm behind to scare us. Then duno why i ended up in front, all alone. Hahaha. Act brave la. Stupid jh chose to drop the dummy then. Hhaha. I started a chain reaction of screaming. I think more ppl were scared by the scream than the dummy la. The grossest stantion goes to bemjamin and bixiu. They used live mealworms! EEKS. Then he threw some on us sumore! WTH. Ok just thinkin abt it makes me feel itchy all over agn. :/ Haha Bach missed alot of clues, and was the last to arrive. We cldnt link the story tgt, but we had fun(:
Then we were all ready to go back and plonk off to lalaland lor. But the greenlink ppl were in the toilet!! Wah i wanted to start a fight. The horrors of PMS. Lol. After we were all cleaned of mealworms, we chionged back to TA block, at which we found out there was stageband prac. AT 1230! Woah i was super pissed. PMS agn. Haha i blackfaced everyone. Made alot of mistakes cos my concentration was zilch. Badmooded till i felt bad.
Day 3:
Was awoken by theresa. Haha thanks girl! Saved us frm being late. (: Then i went to apologise everyone for PMSing the day before. Felt terribly guilty la. :x Luckily banders are a forgiving bunch of people. (: Band prac was ok, but i still had a million and one bars to practise. Im like the worst alto ever! :x
Lunch was extremely interesting. Theresa had to write her speech, so we brought her lunch and all of ours we to the classroom to eat. Imagine the trip there! We carried full chicken chop sets on their plates to the classroom block la. Fun man. LOL. Then i helped theresa with her poem! Quite lame. But she dint hafta use it in the end cos she got WAO!! Woots. All the ppl i voted for got the positions. (: So im rather satisfied with the new exco. YAY. Have faith they'll do well. :D
Then band camp was over! Just like that. Quite sad lor. Even tho i was quite excited to reunite with my bed and aircon, i kinda wished we cld repeat band camp all over agn. I like the freedom. To roam abt the school, even its dark and scary. But nj feels kinda homely alr. And camps usually make you see ppl for who they rlly are. The long periods of close proximity do not allow ppl to conceal their true personalities. And i think that's what make us knw each other better. THis is esp useful as elections were coming nearer. And we bonded and prac-ed quite alot, while havingoodles and oodles of fun! (: Conclusion: NJCSB bandcamp is ULTRA successful!! WOOTS!!!
Now for a note to simin: HEY girl! Hahaha had so much fun with you la. Duno what wld bandcamp have been like if you ponned. -shudders. BUT im so glad you dint! Arent you? (; And i rlly duno if i shld have told you abt the thing or nt. Cos it made you go thru alot of emotional stress. Sigh. But what's done is done, and i rlly think there might be sth lor. But as we concluded, LET NATURE TAKE ITS COURSE! :D Just dont think too much, be natural and enjoy whatever comes your way, k? Love ya, babe! :D
And i wana blog sth random abt today. I went mad and got 4 tops, 1 jacket, 1 skirt, 1 bag, 1 wallet and 2 pairsof shoes. SHIOK! Hahaha. Mom said no more shopping for the next 2 months, but who cares! Im on a high now. HAHA. :D
